Orji Uzor Kalu’s Peace Advocacy Train has just arrived Ado Ekiti to a warm reception by locals.
Excited residents were seen streaming unto the streets to welcome the former governor and his entourage.
Recall that Ekiti state Governor, Ayo Fayose had yesterday warned the former governor to steer clear of the state, as according to Fayose, Ekiti State is peaceful and does not need Kalu’s peace message.
Speaking to journalists shortly after arrival, Kalu said “I am live in Ekiti state being welcomed by the good people of the state. I am gladdened and indeed humbled by the warm reception and the people who trooped out filing by the road side to welcome me. The Statement is clear the good people of Ekiti state have accepted the broom.
