PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus Storms Abia State (Photos)

Igbere TV gathered that the National Chairman who landed at CPS field along Bende Road on a chopper was received by the State Chairman, Sir Johnson Onuigbo who was accompanied by members of the State Executive Committee.

At the Party Secretariat, the Governor expressed happiness welcoming the National Chairman to Abia State to have a look at some of the numerous projects his administration has either completed or is executing.

In his words,

”My administration is committed to the enthronement of good governance, even though I have not achieved all I would have wished to, I remain optimistic that light will continue to be at the end of the tunnel”.

Igbere TV correspondent reported that the National Chairman, in his speech expressed confidence that for the Governor to invite him and members of the National Working Committee to come and inspect the projects he has executed and the ones he is executing that he must be worth his salt.


Prince Secondus also blasted Buhari by depicting concern over the unabated rate of killings being carried on by Fulani herdsmen, Boko Haram and hunger that have become the lot of Nigerians under the watch of the APC federal government.

Our correspondent  also reported  that the PDP chairman  almost broke down in tears as he condemned the unjustifiable insensitivity of the APC administration to the miserable and pathetic plight of Nigerians.

Prince Secondus used the opportunity to call on the Independent National Electoral Commission not to allow itself to be used against the collective will of Nigerian electorate in 2019.

The State Chairman, Sir Johnson Onuigbo, thanked the National Chairman for coming to Abia State with Members of his National Working Committee. He pledged the loyalty of the Party in Abia State to the National leadership of the Party.

Many political dignitaries that were present include the Deputy Governor, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu, the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon(Barr) Chikwendu Kanu, two Senators representing Abia-South and Abia-North Senatorial districts, Enyi Abaribe and Mao Ohuabunwa, respectively, first Chairman of PDP in Abia State; Chief Tony Ukasanya, first Chairman of Niger Delta Development Commission; Chief Onyema Ugochukwu, a prominent politician in the State; Dr Gershon Amuta, a former Minister of Foreign Affairs; Ambassador Aguyi Ironsi and a former Ambassador to Argentina; Chief Empire Kanu.
