Coup Loading: North Invokes Boko Haram 2.0 On Osinbanjo

From a Reader:

The APC led FG and military have continued to assure us that Boko Haram has since been defeated. The likes of Lai Muhammed dismissed BH attacks in the NE as only towards soft targets that Boko Haram have been “degraded to the point that they have resorted to only soft targets”. Lai Muhammed will later claim that BH could not carry out major attacks in their typified convoy style on targets. But just yesterday, the technically defeated and degraded Islamic terrorist group mounted a very coordinated and large scale attack on the Bornu state capital of all places.

One must first and foremost question the intelligence failure that saw a convoy of Boko haram terrorists numbering over a thousand storm the heavily fortified city.

A lot has been going on so far, from the north accepting rumours of Buhari being poisoned to Dr Farooq’s article targeting Osinbanjo’s office and preference for Yoruba Christian appointees to the pan Northern groups declaring Igbos to leave their region.

The recent redeployment of Hausa Fulani officers from administrative posts to troop commands was enough to generate a few eyebrows when we see it from the backdrop that the Buhari administration had systematically of recent sacked mainly officers of southern and middle belt extraction from the military. So the recent resurgence of Boko Haram can be laid squarely on the incompetency of the Hausa Fulani commanders tasked to engage the group, or is it?

The north as far as I am concerned is looking for an excuse to justify a coup and they are desperate to instigate ethno-religious riots and unleash Boko Haram for good measure to serve their purpose of overthrowing Osinbanjo from where power will return securely to the North and indefinitely.
