The Turkish government has invited pro-Biafra group, the Indigenous People of Biafra in the country for more discussions on the Biafra issue.

This development has however deeply offended Nigerian Authorities. Aso Rock sources say President Buhari has ordered Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Geoffrey Onyeama to send a very strong worded letter to Ankara to express FG’s displeasure over what it called, “Ankara’s meddling with Nigeria’s internal affair”.
We also learnt that the Turkish Ambassador to Nigeria, Hakan Çakıl may be summoned to the Villa within the week over the matter.
