The Senate President, Bukola Saraki has landed in London and is scheduled to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari in London on Wednesday. He is to be joined by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara who is still on his way to London.

According to a report by TheCable, other members of the legislature including Yusuf Lasun, deputy speaker, and Ahmed Lawan, senate leader are expected in London to visit the President.

TheCable reported that Bamikole Omisore, media aide of the senate president, confirmed that he is already in London with Saraki, but he did not give details of the meeting with Buhari.

The meeting is expected to take place Wednesday night.

Just some days ago, the All Progressives national leader, Bola Tinubu and some party chieftains visited Buhari in London . Also, Ibikunle Amosun, Ogun state governor, and Daisy Danjuma had also visited the president, who is on vacation in the UK.

Buhari who was to have returned to the country last week Sunday, but postponed it after his 10-day vacation elapsed . The Presidency has insisted that Buhari is hale and hearty.

Presidential aide, Femi Adesina said that the Buhari was in London on vacation and will use the time to undergo medical checkup.

However, Nigerians have been wondering how a President who is on vacation, hale and hearty will find it desirable to be hosting people when he can easily return to the country.

It is not clear what actually is wrong, but Nigerians have expressed fear that the Presidency might not be telling the truth on Buhari’s health status.
