Ndidi off to Leicester for medical

Wilfred Ndidi did not participate in training with Racing Genk on yesterday ahead of their meeting with Charleroi in the quarterfinal of the Belgian Cup.

According to reports in Belgium, the Nigeria international travelled to England where he was expected to undergo a medical with Premier League champions Leicester City.

Racing Genk and Leicester City have agreed a transfer fee, and the defensive midfielder is set to be one of the new acquisitions of the Foxes in the January transfer window.

The 19-year-old Ndidi will join Ahmed Musa and England youth-teamer Layton Ndukwu at the King Power Stadium if he passes his medical and agrees personal terms.
